Welcome to the UWIC personal record system for postgraduate researchers.

The focus on skills acquired during postgraduate research study is increasingly in demand by employers and research councils alike.  

UWIC has developed the Skills Record & Logbook system to help postgraduates keep track of skills and expertise acquired during their study and identify any training or professional development needs.

Researchers who tend to systematically fill in their skills record, often find it a very useful tool for keeping a written log of important activities and events which took place during their study programme. The records are used as reference on progress achieved so far and as an aid for future planning.

We believe that the Skills Record system will prove to be an invaluable document when preparing a CV.
