UWIC Sponsors Ideal Business Show 2008
Following the success of last year’s Business Show, the University of Wales Institute, Cardiff (UWIC) was keen to continue its association by agreeing to sponsor the Ideal Business Show 2008.
Known as the most significant SME b2b annual event in Wales, the Ideal Business Show provides a unique opportunity for businesses to find new suppliers and creative concepts. The event will take place at the Millennium Stadium on 16-17 July.
Last year, UWIC ran a series of well-received business-focussed seminars, covering topics such as: mobile marketing, branding, networking and leadership development.
UWIC’s growing emphasis on applied research and strong record of enterprise activity was showcased at the event through a Research and Enterprise exhibition presence.
Andrew Walker, UWIC’s Head of Marketing and Communications, said: “As a university we understand the needs of business and are always seeking opportunities to support and enhance local companies.”
