Professor Strengthens UWIC’S International Profile

Professor Robyn Jones of the Cardiff School of Sport has recently been appointed a Visiting Professor at the Norwegian School of Sport Sciences (NSSS) at the University of Oslo, Norway.

The position primarily involves developing the already established research culture within the NSSS along the lines of pedagogy and coaching, in addition to working with some of Norway’s top coaches based at the nearby Olympic Centre. It is also anticipated that the link could pave the way for future collaborative work between UWIC and the NSSS, thus further increasing the School of Sport’s profile as an international leader in social science and coaching.
