PGC Leadership for Collaboration
CLEC is working with Bangor University to deliver the Post-Graduate Certificate in Leadership for Collaboration programme, for people working in the public services. The course will be offered across both institutions. This programme has been designed as an integral part of the drive for improvement in Welsh public services and is supported by Public Service Management Wales and the National Leadership and Innovation Agency for Healthcare.
Through a combination of action learning regional and national workshops, coaching and psychometric tools participants will look at the key topics of Leadership, Innovation and Collaborative Governance. It is designed to allow them to become effective collaborative leaders that can deliver excellent integrated and coordinated public services in line with the Welsh Assembly Government’s cutting edge policy in ‘Delivering the Connections’.
On completion, participants will be awarded a postgraduate certificate in Leadership for Collaboration either from UWIC or Bangor. Additionally, these credits can be put forward and counted towards further qualifications, such as a Masters degree.
