Summary
Employability, and the delivery of skills and competencies aligned to business and industry’s needs for existing and future workforces, is high on the agenda both of the countries of Southern Africa and of the United Kingdom.
This unique Exchange will bring the business community together with universities, colleges, schools, youth and business organizations, the private sector, publishers and equipment and materials suppliers, governments, and regional agencies from the UK and the nations of South Africa to examine the way in which the providers of education and training deliver professional development and skills for business and industry and appraise the developmentof policy in this area across the education spectrum.
Our interactive, delegate-led format is designed to bring people together without barriers to exchange information, knowledge, experience, value and business. The programme has been designed not only to enable strategic discussions but also to facilitate the development of international partnerships and business opportunities.
The meeting is an excellent opportunity for UK colleges, universities and providers of educational supplies to:
- Discover the skills needs of Southern African industry/business;
- Understand the current and future market for E & T services;
- identify potential business opportunities and preferred modes of delivery;
- Meet potential Southern African E & T partners and to understand the practicalities involved in setting up a successful partnership in Southern Africa.
The meeting is just £200 per UK delegate for the 2 days and this includes all documentation and lunch on each of the days.
Places are limited and need to be booked in advance. For more information and to book your place, please visit the Industry Exchange.
