UWIC is committed to delivering research at its highest standards and ensuring good ethical conduct by staff and students when undertaking research.
A Code of Practice for ethical standards has been adopted for research which involves human participants or human materials. UWIC’s Research & Enterprise Committee (UREC) has been established to promote best practice, review and approve research applications. UREC meets on a monthly bases (excluding August) to review applications.
Deadline for submissions is normally ten working days prior to a meeting. A full list of meeting dates and submission deadlines for the current academic year is provided below.
