Ethics Guidance

The UWIC Research Ethics Committee (UREC) is a sub-committee of the Academic Board.

It is responsible for ensuring that all research involving human participants carried out by students & staff within UWIC and other locations conforms to the highest ethical standards.

However, not all research requires formal ethical approval. Information and guidance as well as procedures for obtaining ethical approval can be accessed from the full version of the UREC interactive PDF document.
