Code of Practice

The Research Study Code of Practice sets out UWIC’s policy of good practice in relation to research degrees.

It is intended to provide a framework for the management of research studies and to ensure that postgraduate research students can achieve the full potential of their research whilst maintaining academic standards.

The Code of Practice is approved by UWIC's Academic Board and as such it lays down administrative rules which should be treated as having regulatory authority subordinate to the Regulations.

This code takes precedence over the Handbooks for research students and supervisors.
